Are you interested in joining the social media movement, but have no idea how or where to start? If you have an interest in promoting your business, artwork or simply connecting with friends and family, but have limited to no experience with social media, then this class is for you.

Close consideration is given to the needs and wants of the participating students. Websites that are generally discussed are Facebook, Twitter and Google Docs--as well as how to stay safe while surfing the net. Students must come to class with their own laptop computer (Mac or PC, but no tablets, please) that is able to connect to a wireless network (supplied by RCA).

It is highly recommended that enrolling students have basic computer skills, including, but not limited to: connecting their own computer to a wireless network, word processing and/or typing skills, bringing digital pictures to class to post online, must have a personal, web-based email account (gmail is recommended).

Class meets once a week on Tuesdays at Rockport Center for the Arts from 2-4pm.
